I founded Emily Harmston Cakes after a career working as a vet. Since starting the business, the response to my work has been tremendous. It has led to exciting opportunities to supply cakes to prestigious hotels including the Dorchester in London and winning the Cake category at London's BridalNext 2013.
I grew up in a family where baking, cooking and food was a big part of our culture and as such have enjoyed baking since I was very small. I understand and appreciate good flavours and strive constantly to source the best ingredients and flavour combinations to provide a cake that not only looks great but shouts out to be eaten!
The bespoke cakes are made by myself from design to setup to ensure a truly personal service. All cakes are as unique ; from an elegant polished fondant cake with exquisite detailing to a fabulous flamboyant naked cake bursting with colour and flavour. Designing a wedding cake is an honour that I take very seriously and my constant endevour is to ensure it will be one of the highlights of your day.
